Process Description
The Client is entrusted with the responsibility to invoice and collect the emergency-care reimbursements from the insurance companies or the government Medicare/Medicaid program. The Client has outsourced the following processes from its Invoicing and Collection processes.

Completing Emergency Patient Admission Forms

The forms are completed offshore by accessing Client computers remotely from Biz-Core’s offshore center in Mumbai. Biz-Core staff receives rigorous training in Client systems before becoming qualified to perform this process.

Collecting payments and updating accounts receivable

Biz-Core handles the entire collection process on behalf of the Client. We collect mail from the PO Lockboxes, feed them into high-speed mail processors where the mail is opened, sorted, and invoice copies separated from the checks. Thereafter, checks and invoices and other accompanying paper is imaged and the checks are encoded. Paying organization, invoice and check amount details are entered into a database. Finally, the mail, CD’s containing check and invoice images, and files are sent to the Client who updates its Accounts Receivable ledgers.

The Client is reaping a multitude of benefits from this partnership. It started with outsourcing the collections process, gradually increasing volume being outsourced by transitioning from its internal processing team to the Biz-Core team. Biz-Core performs this process onshore, in proximity to the lockbox and bank branch locations. After gaining confidence, the Client outsourced the process of verification of the Patient Admission Form to Biz-Core’s offshore facility in India. The Client is thus able to focus on its core business, achieve huge cost savings, and achieve substantial growth without corresponding increase in manpower.
